Ray Edwards: Managing Director

Ray has had over 20 years experience in the Corporate World and held positions at General Management and Senior Sales & Marketing levels in businesses ranging from $20 Million to $200 Million turnover.
He has on many occasions been leading cultural change processes to lift profit and efficiencies within manufacturing businesses. It has been during this time of driving change that Ray has developed his passion for developing people and developed leadership skills resulting in sustainable business performance.
Ray now enjoys the challenge of helping client companies through change management projects to bring them up to World’s Best Practice.

Ray’s practical corporate experience, coupled with his varied formal qualifications in Marketing, Management & Production Engineering give him a broad understanding in what‘s needed to help businesses and managers perform at their best.

 

Doug Fisk: Implementation Director – Visual Management/Lean Manufacturing

Doug Fisk has more than 25 years experience in assisting organisations in the Manufacturing, Heavy engineering, and Chemical, Mining and Pharmaceutical industries. This experience includes the implementation of world-class manufacturing techniques, best people management practices and change management.

Doug has worked extensively in all states of Australia as well as in the New Zealand, Fiji, and Singapore and was awarded the 'Roger Pysden Memorial Fellowship' that enabled first hand experience to be gained studying world class manufacturing processes and technologies.

His learning has been influenced by his exposure to several best practice organisations in Australasia, South Africa and USA.


 

Michael Blatchford: Associate NSW

Michael has a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.  He is a member and Registered Professional Engineer with the Institution of Engineers Australia.  He has an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, UK and an Accounting and Financial Management Certificate from Queensland University of Technology.

Michael has worked in Engineering and Operational Management roles for 17 years.  He has worked for Caltex as process and control engineer and with Steggles Foods Products and Valspar Australia in Production Management roles.  Michael is an experienced HAZOP leader.  He has been implementing Lean principles for the last 9 years in both continuous and batch manufacturing plants.

Industry knowledge includes petroleum oil refining, process design and optimisation, food manufacture and distribution and surface coatings manufacture. 

Michael is well experienced in implementing Visual Management and lean principles across a diverse range of industries as well as in healthcare & hospitals.
 
       
 

Peter Veal: Associate Victoria

Peter Veal has over 25 years experience in manufacturing management. His last corporate role was CEO of an engineering company. This followed 8 years of change management in that business which included technology transfer & development, positioning for new markets, IT development, ISO accreditation, customer service and cultural change.

In his corporate life Peter has always worked in manufacturing including heavy engineering and automotive component supply companies. Peter is an experienced professional engineer and offers practical & proven solutions to operations and line management.

Peter has supplied components to Toyota, and has been applying elements of Lean since the early 80s. His passion is helping other companies apply Lean manufacturing tools and processes and has lead many successful Lean implementations across a number of diverse industries.

 

Robert Emms: Associate QLD

Robert Emms has over 20 years experience working with a number of manufacturing companies within Australia and overseas.  These have included Unilever, Peters and Brownes Dairy Group, Fonterra, Van Den Bergh Foods Company (US), Golden Circle and Visy Industrial Packaging.

He has held senior operations - management positions, where he has focused on initiating and cultivating a Lean Manufacturing culture, from the shop-floor through to Senior Management by aligning Engineering, Operations, Supply and Logistics functions.

Robert has led a number of businesses through the implementation of a Visual Workplace process, Customer/ Supplier integration and waste reduction,  achieving significant gains in operational performance .
 

Rod Moorcroft: Associate QLD

Rod has enjoyed over 35 years in manufacturing, primarily in Polyurethane Foam, however has also worked in many other manufacturing fields within the Pacific Dunlop/Pacific Brands group of companies.

Over the last 30 years, Rod has held several senior management positions including Manufacturing Manager and State Manager, but over the last 20 years the majority of the time he has been employed as a Continuous Improvement/Training Manager for the group with companies spread throughout Australia and New Zealand. This position involved leading operations in the implementation of continuous improvement / lean manufacturing cultures and processes.

Rod is passionate about developing people, leading change and working with companies in improving their processes and business outcomes.
